Cross Connect — Church Network

By downloading, installing, or using Cross Connect — Church Network ("Cross Connect," "the app," or "the platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Ojee Labs ("we," "us," or "our"), the operator of Cross Connect.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not download or use the app.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through a notice within the app. Your continued use of Cross Connect after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
Cross Connect — Church Network is a ministry technology platform that provides Christian congregations with a branded digital app experience and connects members to a wider fellowship network of affiliated churches. It is operated by Ojee Labs as a ministry initiative. The platform is free to use. Ongoing development is supported by voluntary congregational pledges and individual donations.
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use Cross Connect. By registering, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. If we learn that an account has been created by someone under 18, we will terminate that account and remove associated data.
To access most features of Cross Connect, you must create an account. When registering, you agree to:
You may not create an account on behalf of another person without their explicit consent. You may not create multiple accounts for the purpose of circumventing moderation or congregation approval processes.
Cross Connect allows you to join a congregation within the app. By requesting to join a congregation, you acknowledge and agree that:
Cross Connect does not mediate disputes between members and congregations. Membership decisions are made entirely by congregation leadership.
Users who choose not to join a congregation ("Independent Users") have access to the congregation directory only. Independent users may browse available congregations and submit join requests. Cross Connect content beyond the directory is not accessible to independent users.
Members of congregations that participate in a fellowship network gain access to Cross Connect's fellowship features, including area-wide calendar, fellowship announcements, business directory, and live streams. Fellowship participation is determined by the platform administrator and is based on the congregation's affiliation. Individual members have no ability to control their congregation's fellowship assignment.
You agree to use Cross Connect only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with its ministry mission. You agree not to:
We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate any account that violates these standards, without prior notice.
You retain ownership of any content you post to Cross Connect, including announcements, prayer requests, bulletins, business listings, and profile information. By posting content, you grant Ojee Labs a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to store, display, and transmit that content within the platform solely as necessary to operate the service.
You are solely responsible for the content you post. You represent and warrant that:
We do not endorse or verify user-submitted content. We are not responsible for content posted by users.
Prayer requests marked "All Members" are visible to all verified members of your congregation. Prayer requests marked "Leaders Only" are visible exclusively to users with a Leader role in your congregation. Cross Connect cannot guarantee the absolute confidentiality of any content posted on the platform. Do not share information in a prayer request that you are not comfortable sharing with your congregation or its leaders.
The fellowship business directory allows members to list their businesses for other members to discover. Business listings are self-submitted and unverified by Cross Connect. We make no representations regarding the accuracy, quality, safety, or legitimacy of any listed business. Users who engage with businesses found through the directory do so entirely at their own risk. Cross Connect is not a party to any transaction between members and listed businesses.
Users designated as congregation administrators or leaders are granted elevated permissions within their congregation, including the ability to post announcements, approve or reject membership requests, and moderate congregation content. By accepting an administrator or leader role, you agree to:
Ojee Labs reserves the right to revoke administrator or leader status at its discretion.
Donations and congregational pledges to support Cross Connect are entirely voluntary. All contributions are processed through Buy Me a Coffee (buymeacoffee.com/ojeelabs), which is operated by a third party and subject to its own terms and privacy policy. Ojee Labs does not guarantee any specific level of service, feature availability, or response time in exchange for donations or pledges. All contributions are non-refundable unless required by applicable law.
Cross Connect — Church Network, including its name, logo, design, and underlying technology, is the property of Ojee Labs and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without prior written permission from Ojee Labs.
Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.
Cross Connect integrates with or links to third-party services including but not limited to Firebase, Expo, YouTube, and congregation-configured services such as giving platforms, calendar tools, and streaming services. These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Ojee Labs is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of any third-party service.
Cross Connect is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ojee Labs disclaims all warranties including but not limited to:
Cross Connect is a ministry platform, not a professional counseling, legal, medical, or financial service. Nothing posted on Cross Connect, including prayer requests, announcements, or user communications, constitutes professional advice of any kind.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ojee Labs and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of or inability to use Cross Connect, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of goodwill, or damages resulting from user-generated content.
In no event shall Ojee Labs' total liability to you exceed the greater of the amount you have paid to Ojee Labs in the twelve months prior to the claim or one hundred dollars ($100).
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Ojee Labs and its operators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your use of Cross Connect, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another person or entity.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to Cross Connect at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including but not limited to violation of these Terms, conduct harmful to other users, or conduct inconsistent with the ministry mission of the platform.
You may delete your account at any time from within the app. Upon account deletion, your access to Cross Connect will terminate immediately and your data will be permanently removed.
Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including sections covering intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of Cross Connect shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Los Angeles County, California, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Ojee Labs.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Ojee Labs with respect to your use of Cross Connect and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and representations.
